Feels like you slept on your back funny, and wake up sore -- BUT all the time.
I have had to learn to listen to my body really carefully. I thought my back and hip pain was something else, and I had a TON of unnecessary testing. But sometimes you have to go through it to know what your body is telling you. Do what works. And try everything. Get 2nd, 3rd, and 4th opinions if you need to <3
Truthfully, it feels like a regular massage. The woman who does mine asks how soft/hard obviously and then where I want it focused too obviously. She has certain training. Insurance pays for it. It's only at certain places...not a normal spa. If you go to an holistic health care place where there's a chiropractor and acupuncturist, someone probably does medical massages. Or if you go to a place where they do Physical Therapy. Insurance picks up the bill for whatever your co-pay doesn't cover.
thanks ladies, I haven't tried acupuncture but I did have medical massage a while back and that did help so maybe its worth trying that again
I have bad posture too. But as Michelle said, it's a dull, throbbing ache. I sprained my ankle in November and have found insurance covers medical massages. Those have really helped with the back pain both from Endo and how my ankle threw off my back. Have you tried acupuncture to help?
