Pain Therpy
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm just wondering what other woman use for pain. The only thing I have found that works is marijuana. If its in pill form , I have to almost overdose just for it to help. Some people don't think its medicine (my family) but I was miserable before I started. (Btw I live in Colorado in case anyone was wondering)

I take a medication called Belbuca and it seems to help.

The two things that made a big difference were consuming an anti-inflammatory diet, which included going gluten and grain free, sugar free, alcohol free, chocolate free, low carb, and later on, dairy free, and taking magnesium glycinate (400 mg) at bedtime every night. I could take another dose midday if needed, but I rarely needed. Getting rid of gluten especially really made a big difference for me.

If you can get the cbc capsules there ....they give the anti inflammation properties without any of the HI that thc will give you. Still marijuana but no hi...just pain relief.

I wish that was an option in Texas! I've been trying mind over matter to avoid taking pain pills. However, I have also been using some essential oils and I will say it does help a bit. Young living is a good brand. I use clary sage and geranium and I rub it on my pelvic area and my heels once a day and I think it's helping

I smoke it and it helps with the pain a lot. Because of all the illegal use of pain pills it's hard where I live to get a doctor to really believe that this does hurt a lot and not just when you are on your cycle. It's illegal where I live but it's a risk I take to have a somewhat decent quality of life.
