A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone else experience changes in their hair from hormone imbalance?

My hair went from soft Brunette to stringy blond. Even if I dye it, it doesn't hold for a month. My eye doctor (who just educated me on how this is messing up my eyes) says it could possibly be the issue with my hair.

I didn't get anything written down but the main thing is I have a type of Dry Eye that is usually seen in much older woman like 65 or older. But at the same time I am over producing mucus. These two things are not normally together. There was another thing he saw that again is in much older woman. But other things that normally go with it, I am fine. I was shutting down. I went into my "protect yourself" mode where it's just more medical bad news. I will have them write it down when I go back in 6 weeks.
In the meantime, can you go see another Doctor?

Yes, but not in the way you described. I just noticed it was shedding too much when I showered. Not just seasonal changing good shedding. But the yikes I have a lot of hair and it's thinning out one. My doctor said hormones and stress. She then said there's something to help. Biotin. I could have kissed her feet. The other thing that helps hair: fish oil.

Thought I would chime in. I was diagnosed with dry eyes about 1 year ago. My doctor stated that no medicine can cure it but to help contain it is heat to the eye. I rushed to the store. It is called Thermalon mask. Heat it up in microwave and place on for 5 mins morning and night. I have not had a problem since I've been using it. Feels soothing plus helps my migraines.

I am to use Preservative Free Natural Tear eye drops. I'm not liking them. Make my eyes feel cloudy, goopy and sticky which I am sure is from the mucus. He wants me to put them in every hour but I am doing 2-3 cause I need to see.
