Trying To Conceive
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Any advice on trying to conceive? What has helped, what didn't help? When should we look into IVF, surrogacy, things like this? We have been trying to conceive for 3 years. I'm 24, my husband 34. He had a semen analysis done so we know it's not him. I had a lap done in August 2012, with 7 Lupron injections following. I have tried NuvaRing for 5 months and that didn't seem to help anything. Just looking for some advice!

My endo doctor told me that when the time comes for me to start trying to have kids he would let me try for 6 months and if it didn't work go straight to IVF right away. It's worth looking into!

If I were you I would research a good fertility clinic in your area and go and talk to them about what your options are.

After 7 years of trying to convince. We opted to do IVF. I wish we had done it sooner. But all things happen for a reason. Last year I gave birth to my miracle baby. IVF worked the first time. Good luck sweetie.
