Conceiving After Laparoscopy
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hello,

I was diagnosed with moderate endo after my incision laposcopy on 12/16/15. I've been on the infertility roller-coaster for 7 years. I was diagnosed in April. Have any of you lovely ladies had success getting prefers after surgery and if so how long did it take? I'm also concerned because of my age, 34.

I did not but I had stage 4. My issue was that my tubes had scar tissue. Did they flush out your tubes?? My doctor said the best time to try to convieve is after you've had surgery. Best of luck!! Get standing on your head lol I think I actually tried that. Sprinkling baby dust your way!!❤

Hey ladies! Any updates? We've been ttc since Feb'14 with no luck. I have diminished ovarian reserve from both the Endo and from my lap in Oct'15. Clomid hasn't worked and we're scheduled for IVF in June.

It would be great to hear success stories or finding from those going through the same journey. Good luck to you all.

Prior to surgery, post op is the 8th. I guess this can change. I assume it is also dependent on the stage of endo and how you're recovering.

Hmm so did you talk with your doctor about this prior to surgery? Or did you discuss/decide at your follow up appt? My surgeon is 2hrs away so my pre-op is a bit different as I'm doing all the stuff where I live and having the results sent to his office. Thanks for starting this discussion!
