Has Anyone Had Endometriosis On Their Bladder?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone been diagnosed with endometriosis on their bladder? For the past four days I've been having trouble being able to start urinating or even get much out, the stream is really weak. I had to go home with a catheter the other night from the hospital because they emptied so much urine from my bladder. I have an excision lap in 5 days, worried about the recovery time and if it will making being able to urinate worse. Any answers will help right now!

I am currently having the same issues with not being able to pee. During my last lap they found endo on my bladder. It has been just over 2 yrs now and I believe that it has returned. I am curious what you found out and if you are still having this issue.

When I had my laparoscopy, my endo was found all over my bowel and bladder area. I had scopes on my bladder before this procedure and inside my bladder was great. (Bladder scope was pretty uncomfortable, but manageable compared to endo pain) before finding the endo on my bowel and bladder--I suffered from frequent utis and doctors at one point had me on bladder incontinence medication. (At this time I was only 20 years old) my endo was found when I was 23 and I started going to doctor when I was 17 years old. So yes it is possible. There have been women to have tissue growth on their lungs, spine and even their brain. But those are very extensive situations. I haven't had to undergo an incision lap. But I am curious if your endo has grown over the bladder, thus causing difficulty with urination. I had not only dealt with that issue as well, but sometimes even going over 15 times a day, and it was literally a dribble. A laparoscopy could tell you for sure if the endo has grown over the bowel or bladder area for you, and you can go a medicinal route from there. I really hope this helped and that you start feeling much better very soon! Best of luck! 💗
