Night Sweats
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Undergone 2 laparoscopic surgeries for endometriosis in 2010 and in 2012. Have been with Mirena since 2012 don't know if night sweats are from the IUD or from the condition. No infections, no thyroid and no prolactin level problems. Wake up drench in sweat, has been goin on for about a week.

I have had the IUD for 5 or 6 months and I have hot flashes AND night sweats, along with a bunch of other symptoms. I wake up drenched, too. I try to make sure my window is open before I go to bed, sleep in just a shirt and only use a light blanket. My poor husband has been freezing for weeks. I was actually shocked when I started having so many symptoms because this was supposed to be such a "low dose" option. I'm not on anything but the Mirena, and I'm only 28 so I know it isn't menopause, just side effects from the IUD.
