My doctor is wanting to take out my right ovary. (The only ovary I have left.) I had emergency surgery to remove my left one due to an 11 cm cyst 3 years ago. I continue to have large and very painful cysts on my right.

Should I say no to this? I'm 33. I know it's an automatic throwing myself into menopause if I agree, but I'm concerned if I don't have it taken out, it could eventually turn into something more. And not to mention I'm in pain all the time, and back and forth to the doctor and… read more

Thank you so much for replying @A MyEndometriosisTeam Member. I am leaning more towards going ahead and having it done. Im so tired of hurting and feeling sick all of the time.
