Tightness In Chest
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone have thoracic endo or endo on the diaphragm and have tightness in the chest or trouble breathing when the humidity is high?

I wouldn't describe my issues as trouble breathing. It just feels like on the right side something is weighing on my chest under my ribs and I don't get as full of a breath in on that side. There's also tightness in between where my ribs meet. I also have an odd wheeze when I run or or high impact workouts. I always thought it was asthma and that the discomfort was from GERD. My doctor suspects thoracic endo and my diaphragm/lungs will be checked during surgery in July.

My diaphragm and lungs will be checked during my surgery in August. My lungs also collapsed after my last surgery to clean out endo in my abdomen.

Mine is mostly on my right side, but has started going across to my left side. The pain is similar to what you described. I feel like I can't get a good enough breath. It's a lot worse when the humidity is high.
