I don't have the mirena, I have the Jaydess though which is smaller and I find it much better. It does give me some relief and helps with the bleeding although still in pain from it. Xxx

Hey hun, yeah i have a mirena in had it for about a year, ((( *HAPPY B-DAY DOLL!!!!* )))
:) Yeah pain levels took a bit to calm down, and they did for a while. Then i had to go on extra hormone pills to ease the pain which kept getting worse, but that's just me. Um i can say side effects were an almost complete no periods, yet time of period i get worse pain, i have found it better than not having it. I'm having surgery again soon to see what it going on in there cos my pain levels are high again, but if it works for you hun i say go for it! I know otherswith a mirena and results vary from one person to the next. <3 Hope this helps hun
