Hi, I am currently 30 weeks pregnant with my first child after years of trying and I'd like to hear about your experiences with natural labour and cesareans. I have stage 4 endometriosis, polycystic ovaries and a blocked right tube. I have had 8 laparoscapys, an appendixectomy and a hysteroscapy, it has been suggested that a cesarean might be the best option for me as I have a lot of adhessions and scar tissue in my pelvic area and as the hysteroscapy was only done in April there is a risk of my… read more

I have stage 4 endo. Ive had 4 laps for endo. I had a vaginal birth. My child was born at 38 weeks. It was not an easy labor at all, but no clue if it had anything to do with endo or anything. My water broke but i had not dialated or started to efface yet. Dr put me on pitocin. I labored for 24 hours. Then time to push. I pushed for 2 hours, got no where, baby was stuck. I was told to stop pushing and rest. Then i pushed for another 2 hours , dr had me in all different kinds of position to use gravity to force the baby to unstick. My dr manually manipulated the baby and ended having to use a vaccum to get her out. She was totally fine. My placenta broke into tons of pieces so i spent the next hour with my dr elbow deep up there cleaning all the placenta out. My dr did tell me if my baby had been any bigger then i would have had to have a c section. A few of my friends had c sections and said they were brutal. So i would say if u r up for trying naturally then try. Some women prefer to have a scheduled c section
