Has anyone else had their hormonal birth control give them a pulmonary embolism? If so what have the doctors or you done as far as endo treatment? I was told by one dr absolutely no hormones whatsoever ever again and another tell me I could take hormones but they would never take me off the blood thinners. Just looking for options and some kind of hope.
I would recommend consultation with a dedicated endometriosis expert who is also a reproductive endocrinologist.

I hope you find a solutions that is not too risky and that will relieve your pain... I really do!
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member I know that I'm at a higher risk for it happening again, at this point in trying to find out what my options will be for endo treatment since most of them involve hormones in some capacity.
Birth control can really provoque that, it's a known fact... If you take it again is a risk and given you already had it once is a higher risk... I think I wouldn't go back on hormones but I would have to read more about it... Try to find good scientific articles about it, NCBI is a good library or at WHO (world health organization)
