Pain Relief
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I really need some advice on what can help with my pain, I'm so tired of being in pain, I currently take tramadol and morphine, as I am allergic to codine, ibuprofen, asprin, memanefic acid and ibuprofen gel, I also use a hot water bottle, I was just wondering if there was anything else I could try, doesn't have to be tablet, I am willing to try anything, I just want this pain to go 😥

I swear by my osteopath! Apparently when we have flare-ups, the uterus is inflamed and pulls on the nerves of the spinal cord. My osteopath looses the muscles gives me instant relief of the pressure. He also taught me some exercises for when my back jams up.

Have you ever tried an anti-inflammatory diet? Endo is an autoimmune disease that's often linked with other conditions. if there are less irritants in your body you might feel better.
My symptoms have improved tremendously since I did a food intolerance test and cut out wheat and dairy!
Hope that helps xxxx

I know this advice isn't always what people want to hear, especially if you're in a lot of pain, but recently I started exercising a lot more and noticed such a drop in pain levels. I have days still where I'm in pain and thought of exercise isn't ideal but i think it does really help.
