Hi! Would appreciate any thoughts or insights anyone has. Thank you!
Is there anything that in hindsight you wish you knew prior to surgery? Whether about the surgery itself, aftercare, questions you wish you would’ve asked the surgeon, etc.
At what point did you feel like the surgical pain was gone/at a manageable level where it wasn’t all you were thinking about?
Hi Eve! I wish I would have known that I would wake up in a LOT of pain. I got through it but I woke up sobbing from the intensity of the pain (maybe I wasn't given enough meds?) However, due to the… read more
I had my surgery in March, my right ovary removed my fallopian tubes removed and endometrioma in my left ovary was attempted to be removed but it burst and she had to leave it in there. She wanted to save my 1 ovary for hormones. My bladder, Bowels, ovary & uterus were fused together. However, since the surgery my flareups have been worse and more frequent! And my left ovary endometrioma has doubled since March. Why???????? I thought this would have helped not made it worse! Thank you
I feel like no matter what we do we can't get relief. I'm so sorry 😔
I have GERD and it doesn't seem to matter what I eat or if I eat. I read that a hiatal hernia can sometimes be the cause but have no idea how you would determine if you have a hernia. Seems a lot of doctors struggle to see them on imaging.
I take 40 mg of famotidine each day
Has anyone bought one of these and found it useful? It’s a almost $200 but what if it’s useful?
These are the settings I’m using for mine that seem to work pretty well for endo pain. This should translate okay to any customizable unit I think. (Though experiment to see what works best for you.)
Because of my PCOS and endometriosis, I suffer from chronic pain and anemia which has led to significant weight gain (more than 60 lbs, 20 of it in the last 3 months). Now I’m going for a full hysterectomy in April and beginning hrt shortly afterward. I would appreciate any advice and/personal experiences. Thank you!
It’s said post 2018
My pain Dr has successfully treated endo patients with a spinal cord stimulator implant and I am considering trying it this summer. I’d love to hear from anyone about their experience with this!
Have you tried a portable Tens unit first? Like the kind that chiropractors use? My docs wanted to go that route and I started talking to other people who've actually had it done and every single one… read more
Has anyone used a TENS unit to help relieve some of your pain? I came across a blog and she used one and it helped tremendously.
Yes and it helped with some of my pain, especially lower back xx
Has anyone experienced weight gain as a symptom of endo?
I’m off all hormonal birth control and I’ve gained 30lb the last two years. I want to say the main contributors are being less active & also a hormone imbalance? Ugh
I can't count how many times I actually fainted today. I spent most of my day in bed with depression consuming me, but I had to be so careful every time I got up because I know I'd just fall right back onto my bed. I didn't have the strength to blow dry my hair after my shower and even showering made me short of breath and dizzy. I started bleeding lightly today, first day of my strange irregular cycle maybe? Never know if I'm just spotting, point is I'm not bleeding heavily. I've eaten exactly… read more
Pots is probably what you're experiencing or some type of dysautonomia
Has anyone had any experience using bee propolis for endometriosis? Specifically to aid in getting pregnant?
I have been taking it for 3 months now.
