A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Is there anyone on here that has had a hysterectomy and not regretted it? Anyone get lasting pain relief from their hysterectomy?

Thanks :) sounds to me like you need a new doctor. You cant get a for sure diagnosis of endometriosis without a laparoscopy. Any doctor who wont even take the time to give you a for sure diagnosis is either lazy or doesnt care. You deserve better. Good luck to you. Will keep you in my prayers:)

I've not had one but I am at the stage now that I feel it's my only hope. Although I know there is a chance it won't as I have no idea on how bad my end actually is. At my last gyno app, I was told I had it, with no scan or op and told to get injections every month. I'm still in pain though. I have my family so getting a hysterectomy doesn't worry me but no doctor I talk to wants to do it because I'm too young at 35. I hope everything goes ok for you. Xxx

I've had a hyster 15 yrs ago I was stage 4 was taken a lot of pain meds to get out of bed I didn't have a life my life was to stay in bed. After my hyster my pain was not as bad and I live different life better then I did. But I still have pain about ever 3 yrs and have to have surgery cuz Endo has grown back. But I think it was the best thing I've done for myself.
