Dark Blood A Week Before Period?

I was diagnosed with endo in 2001. Lived with pain for years, and horrible periods. 6 months ago I had leep procedure to remove cin iii from cervix. Now I have been spotting with dark brown blood before period. Gyno said it normal?!?! Doesn’t seem normal to me🤔

I have exactly this!!! I also doubt its normal. I know that it is normal to have some darker and brighter red period blood depending on age. But the black tar that starts 1 week before mine doesn't seem normal either!
Has yours stopped? I've had mine over 2 years.

Dark brown blood is usually old blood. It could be from the leep.
