So i am on the marina coil and no longer have actual full on periods but once a month i get really bad headaches when i would normally have a period and a couple other signs which are manageable. What i can't stand are the headaches which i can't shake. How do you find is the most effective way which doesn't result in being in bed all day with the covers over your head. I have struggled with menstrual headaches long before I had endo problems and have chronic migraine. The best way I can control them is by taking lamotrigine and propranolol regularly to prevent them. I also found they improved slightly when I had the coil put in!
I had this a couple of days ago, not on contraception but on my period, magnesium and calcium supplements are meant to helps think they did but I had to take a couple of paracetamol and ibuprofen as well due to work x
