Birth Control And What To Expect?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am going on the pill today for the first time since I was a teenager! I am nervous about the side effects and how severe they can get. Just anxious I guess. I am two weeks post-op from my first laparoscopy and my doctor recommended Lupron for 6 months but I wanted to try something less extreme first. BC was the right way to go I hope, but I heard side affects can be just as bad for both. Any thoughts?

Side effects are perfectly normal and can be different for everyone, the most important thing to know is that if you don't like the way you feel on one you should switch and try one that affects your body better.

Thank you for sharing! I feel like its better to know what to expect than be freaking out because I dont realize the side affects are normal. Fingers are crossed!
