Having an endo flare up, but pain meds are not working like they usually do. I only take percocet when i absoluelty have to which is about once a month. I have the lowest dosage and perscribe to take 1-2 pills every 4-6 hours. Mu question is, can i take another pill if it has been 3 hours? Can i take a half? I am counting down this last hour to when i can take another pill as perscribed but its killing me
Maybe talk to dr about opiates(they are not the devil everyone would have you believe) and/or Belbuca strips you put inside your cheek. Excellent pain relief from Belbuca.
I suffer from both endo and fibromyalgia. I like to break the Percocet in half to take the edge off of the pain, I can't let it get ahead of me or I won't be able to calm the cramps for hours. The pain is debilitating. I also take Gabapentin (Horizant) to calm the nerve pain & Trintellix for anxiety. I hope this helps you. Softest hugs warrior!
