Mirena + Sick
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

Has anyone experienced feeling ongoing sickness (nausea, extreme fatigue different from endo fatigue, run down, etc) after getting the Mirena IUD placed?
Did that subside? If so, how long did it take?

I experienced the same side effects. The fatigue is different than the fatigue I experience as a side effect from endo. Iā€™m on both lupron and the iud and I am constantly exhausted. Bleeding has been irregular for me as well.

I think I'm having the same problem as you! I don't understand it but I'm changing my diet to see if that helps with it? I'm nearly at 6 months after having mirena fitted. Also having irregular bleeding almost everyday.
