A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I am having an exploratory lap in a couple of weeks. I am wondering if any of you ladies had a pelvic exam or some kind of exam before your lap. You don't have to be examined. Scans might be enough.

That just means that the scans were enough to tell them what they needed to know.

They can't really tell from the outside sometimes they'll check by pushing on your tummy for sensitivity but they kinda have to go in to know. How many have you had? When was your last lap done? I guess age ( pre menopause, post menopause) and how progressed it was the last time they did s lap may play a roll. I've only had one Lap six years ago in on the waiting list for another one dont really understand why you can't see your belly button but it sounds like you've had a lot of surgeries?
