Does Anyone Know Of Symptoms Related To The Spreading Of Endo?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am on a birth control pill to maintain hormone levels. Spotting/bleeding randomly occur though and I worry that these may be symptoms of endometriosis spreading since it is so irregular. If anyone has experience in symptoms related to endometriosis growth without having to go through a laparoscopy it would be greatly appreciated!

Spotting and bleeding doesn’t mean the endo is spreading . Spotting and bleeding is already a symptom of endo and Adenomyosis as it is, no matter what stage your in . I’ve heard that endo and birth control sometimes don’t mix well and I’m considering on getting off of it myself because I’m having constant spotting and bleeding aswell, was never like this when I wasn’t on the pill. Hope we get some awnsers soon. Hang in there!

There is a chance it could be or it could still be the same but your symptoms are getting worse it doesn't matter the stage you can experience bad symptoms no matter what stage you are I would consult with a doctor you can find a specialist on Nancys nook on facebook. They might be able to treat your symtoms or decide whether or not its time to take another look. Have You been treated you for your endo besides just having the surgery 3 years ago?

Yes, I was diagnosed about 3 years ago when I had a laparoscopy to remove an ovarian cyst. The endo was labeled mild at the time so it was not removed. I fear now with my symptoms it may be spreading.
