Surgery Or Not For 7.2 Cm Mass On Left Ovary
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I ended up in the ER on Sunday with the worst pain in my life on my left side. I have 5 kids 4 of which were all natural with no meds, at one point the pain ib felt on Sunday was worse. Yesterday Gyno said I have a large mass on my left ovary. He thinks it's an Endometrioma. He was so weird and just kept telling me whatever I want to do. He doesn't think it will go away on its own but said it can. He said my uterus is thick and most likely endometriosis ( he gave it a name that starts with an A… read more

Have your surgeries been done by an experienced excision specialist or was it ablation? If not excision this may be why you still have so much pain.

For those who have had a hysterectomy could you share your experience
I have had excision, been on Lupron, Depo and every pill under the sun. My options are slim and I’m miserable
Yes I had my surgery with a Nook excision specialist.
Yes I know a hysterectomy is not a cure.
Yes I know I’m young.
Yes I am aware that takes away my option to bear children.
It’s a difficult decision- hence my research and advice seeking.
But I am out of options and I do not want to be miserable the rest of my… read more
