Is It Possible To Get Another Laparoscopy Less Than A Year After The First One?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had a laparoscopy in January to remove endometriosis. In the past two months until now my pain has gotten so much worse. Instead of having bad cramps I get horrible pain where I can't move or do anything but lay in bed. I have an IUD and am worried that it might have something to do with this pain. But I am a college student and do not have much time over break and do not want to be wasting time.

I also have had a lifetime of getting sick with birth control. My doctor tried something different which has been working since my laparoscopic surgery 2017. She put me on loestrin which is the lowest dose of birth control. So I don't get sick at all. She also has me take the blue pills and not the sugar pills at the end of the pack. Instead, I go from one pack to a new pack and continuously take the blue pills so my period never comes and I don't get the painful symptoms of endometriosis. This pill is the first one that has not caused me to be really sick so I suggest you discuss it with your provider.

Im having the same issue with the IUD, pain is still there and the spotting/bleeding. Heard from doctors and people it can help with the endo not growing as fast. but is it worth it? and I get sick from pill from birth control. :/

When I had my IUD, it made the pain worse. Might be good to consider having it removed.
