Anyone Experienced Loss Of Bladder Control?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I actually peed myself tonight, when I was asleep. With both my dog and my boyfriend in the bed.... I was half awake twice noticing it was cold, then wet, but was in so much pain I couldn’t get up if I wanted to.. so I just slept in it... Never experienced this before... anyone has any idea why? Or what could help? I am terrified for this happening again... I am so glad my boyfriend was nice about it, but this is NOT a good feeling.. I struggle with anxiety from before, now I have anxiety about… read more

I had my first experience of this two days ago! Wet myself while fully awake and just walking about the house. Like you, barely noticed it! Honestly I’m just having to laugh about it. I do have bladder symptoms usually and suspect bladder endo but will find out more at my appointment in Feb.

Hope you and your boyfriend were able to have a good laugh about it- at least it was only wee! Sounds horrendous but it could have been something else.. I’ve also had that experience while in bed with my partner🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 the pain took over so what can you do🤷🏻‍♀️ Didnt think I’d be dealing with this many accidents at 23 lol!

Stacy: I have been reading on Nancy’s nook for specialist, but there is no one in Norway.. I know there is a doctor in Oslo, but the problem is I am in no condition to travel... but having an exploratory laparoscopy in the local hospital soon, and they have been praised for knowing when they don’t have the skills to handle things and refers to Oslo😊

Oh thats fantastic news!! I’m so glad you’re getting somewhere on your recovery journey. And your boyfriend sounds like he has the right attitude🎉
No problem- and thank you, I’m glad if I can help at all :) xo

We laugh about it now, his reaction was amazing! He was just like “it’s only pee, and you didn’t do it on purpose, it’s the pain and illness, so no worries”. Then everything was normal again🙌🏻
I got the letter today that I have a pre surgery appointment next Tuesday😍 After that I can get my surgery date for the exploratory laparoscopy 🙌🏻
Really appreciate all the support and that someone like you, positive and with similar experience, answers questions 😍
