Sudden Pain?

When you first realized your pain and symptoms, were they very sudden or were they always there? I've had my period for around three years and was never too concerned about anything until a couple months ago when I started getting some intense pain out of no where. Now my pain seems to get more intense by the day.

My cramps were very painful from the start, but it has gotten progressively more unbearable as time goes on.
