Hi everyone,

Had surgery on Monday. I had already been diagnosed with endo so we thought that's what would be found this time.. i had zero endo but had extensive adhesions due to scar tissue. They involved my intestines, my left kidney, and my left ovary.

I felt good in the days following surgery but as the week has gone on i feel worse and worse. I've had alot of nausea off and on, a headache, some weird pains in my abdomen, and a good bit of bleeding. I tried telling myself that my body was… read more

No, i thought i needed to be seen on Friday but by that point it was too late to call. I'm still having some pains but otherwise i'm feeling better. I don't think i'll even call in.

Unfortunately from what i've read the scar tissue adhesions are kind of worse, they can pop up at any time and there isn't a way to control them. It's just how your body heals from surgery 😬

You are right. They are horrible bc when they are stuck to other organs like mine are then there is nothing they can do for you bc it is too hard of a risk & that is what I am facing.

I had surgery on the 13th of March and my pain is also back...worse than before the operation. Did you go back to your doctor? Or is it normal?

Adhesions known as scar tissue can come back & for some people rather quickly. I had excision surgery in Nov 2018 & within 1 month my pain was back & I'm still in pain. everyone is different, I would call the dr. or go to the E. R.
Best of luck to you. Keep us posted.

He's a specialist, the first doc i've seen that i really like and trust!

I haven't brought this up to him yet, i didn't really feel all that bad until after it was too late to call. So now my options are to wait until Monday or end up in the ER. Which i really want to avoid if it's not needed. Kicking myself for not calling earlier.
