Endometriosis And Pregnancy
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi I’m new here I’m 28 and was just diagnosed with endometriosis. My fiancé and I are wanting to have a child. But idk if it’s possible with having endometriosis. I’m really scared. Does anyone have any advice to try and get pregnant while having endometriosis?

I had surgery almost a her ago and I’ve been trying for 6months . Have patience and faith, it will suck having to pee on many sticks and see nothing but keep going. I wouldn’t get any more surgeries, I’m reading a lot lately how the surgeries can leave scar tissue or cause extra to build up which can harm your Fallopian tubes etc. Eating healthy and taking vitamins is what I’m doing now and I’m praying it’ll be a baby. Just difficult to find the correct ovulation day for women with Endo, so that’s where it can be tricky. I get discouraged at times but having a supportive and patient spouse helps as well. Good luck !

I was 30 and trying to conceive with endo. My Dr. put me on Lupron for 6 months and the month after I came off of it, I got pregnant. I was lucky but it worked. My daughter is a junior in college now.

Please don't take for granted you will have trouble conceiving- unless of course you have already been trying... I was diagnosed w stage 3 endo early this year and we have had no problem at all conceiving 3 daughters🤗I know it is hard for so many tho.... it depends where your endo is i guess

I understand. Maybe circle back to your OBGYN let them know you don’t have the finances and will like to know what options you may have to give birth to your child. Actually I would also do the same with the fertility clinic. They may offer some assistance/ grants and so forth. You don’t really know what options you have unless you ask.
