Lupron Vs Orilissa?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Are the side effects the same? Bone loss, etc?

Hey I am currently on the Lupron shot and have had great success. I have been on it for 4 and a half months. Before I started the Lupron I had bad cramping with and without my period and I was cramping for almost 2 months straight. I have had a pelvic ultrasound to make sure that my endometriosis isn't getting worse and it is stable. I think drs recommend only being on the Lupron for 6 months so I am not sure what my next step will be. However the Lupron shot is expensive and took me by surprise but it is helping me a lot. I am not cramping nearly as much or as bad. Good luck and I hope this helps

Been on both, side effects MUCH milder on orilissa. On my 3rd week, pain pretty much gone and have no side effects this week. First week had mild hot flashes and headache. Those are gone now :)

Anyone else have this experience? What did your doctor say about how long you can stay on it, and what happens when you cant take it anymore?
