I have been gaining weight which has gone up and down for years. I just had surgery in March had endo and Adno removed during my hysterectomy. After recovery I started working out again around May 15th and have lost 12lbs so far.

Maybe I little bit too late here with my story, but let it be. 3 years ago I have started to gain weight despite the fact that I was physically active and led a healthy lifestyle and diet. I was not diagnosed with endometriosis at that time. Since I was a chubby girl before starting to put on weight, no one took my concern seriously and brushed it off as a consequence of stress and eating too much ( I WAS NOT EATING TOO MUCH :D in fact, out of despair, I was not eating enough so anemia kicked in. my thyroid worked perfectly). I was gaining weight despite any sport or diet I took, even starving did not help. I've put on 66lbs in 2 years and it was still growing. Last October I had my first laparoscopy to remove my 6,4 cm cyst. That was the day, when I have stopped gaining weight. I have also been diagnosed with stage III endo. That cyst was somehow related to weight gain for sure though many doctors said it wasn't. Well, it was for me. So if you have a cyst, talk to your obgyn or seek an other opinion. Maybe the cyst needs to be removed.

You might try the anti-inflammatory diet. It can also help with the pain a little bit. Also, unsure if you already do, but you might try fiber supplements. I've been losing a lot of weight recently - mainly from loss of appetite though. Green tea can also help with metabolism! (Wasn't sure what kind of response you were looking for because I experienced my weight gain with finding out about hypothyroidism a few years ago)
