When Does The Period Return Once Stopping Orilissa?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I missed a period and was worried about pregnancy. I understand that Orilissa does not prevent against pregnancy and could cause early pregnancy loss so I took a pregnancy test every month. First time missing a period on the medicine so I took another Test. Test were negative, still no period, and I stopped the pill days ago. Has anybody else stopped Orilissa? When did your periods come back? We're you able to conceive afterwards?

Wicked late here. I was on Oralissa last year (around March) and didn’t get my period until September. I then stopped are November so my husband and I can try to conceive. My period did return until January. Which was frustrating because we thought we nailed it the first time. I’m now back on Oralissa. Now after my first month, I don’t have my period after having it regularly all year.

I’m on Orilissa and nexplanon and went two months without a menstrual cycle and then got my menstrual cycle this month so don’t panic. If you don’t have your period in the next three months then go buy a pregnancy test. But for right now don’t panic

Hi Heather, is the nexplanon being used as an addback therapy? My doc said nexplanon alone is not a good option for me, since it usually causes more bleeding. What does your doc think?
