My doctor took me off hormonal birth control completely while on Orilissa. Said taking it was a potential risk for blood clots. So I would use barrier methods instead. I’m finishing up the 6 month treatment and havent had any periods while on it.

I think it's actually the opposite. I think Orilissa makes a combination pill not work bc Orilissa cuts down on the estrogen in your body. Like Kate said, you can use a progesterone only pill.

One without estrogen. That's what I'm using right now since I'm on the orilissa too. I take Micronor. It's a pill.
