Hi everyone! I am attending a support group next week for women in my are who struggle with endometriosis and infertility. We will be discussing self-care. I'm curious to know what you do to care for yourself when you are having a flare or feeling depressed because of all the emotions that come with chronic pain?
What are some things that you do that you have found to be helpful? Would love your feedback.

Everything from writing and journaling to kick-boxing class to long walks to cooking and good music. I let myself feel grief and anger for a little while, then find light to move toward. The monthly grief cycle has been the hardest for me. And changing relationships as friends and fam have biological children over the years! A support group sounds amazing. I may try to start one here in SE Ohio!
Thank you for your feedback! I agree, a soak in a hot bath and a good book is the best!
If possible a nice deep long soak in the bath w a good book is helpful when you're sore and feeling down.. even light a nice scented candle.. makes your 'me time's feel special
I found it on Facebook! I just typed in "utah endometriosis support group" and bam!! And they happen to meet once a month, which I think is awesome.
If you can't find one in your area...maybe you should start one!
Thank you so much for your response! I agree with you...sometimes I feel guilty for taking some time to myself but it's so important.
I love the idea of the essential oils! Thank you for sharing!
