Butt And Lower Pain During Sex
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I just had sex for the third time ever but for the second and third time, I felt a sharp pain shoot from my butt and lower back. I didn’t feel the pain in my lower abdomen though. The pain was worse off when doing the doggy style. Is this normal during the first times you have sex or I actually have endometriosis.

Endometriosis And Rheumatoid Arthritis
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm wondering how many others suffer with both conditions at the same time?

I've been really struggling with joint pain for a few years now, particularly in my knuckles, wrists and knees. I've recently booked a doctors appointment, but before that I've been doing a bit of research myself and found out that Rheumatoid Arthritis is an auto-immune disorder. Everyday I'm becoming more and more convinced that Endometriosis is also an auto-immune disorder, there's too many connections - for me anyway… read more

Hi Everyone, I'm About To Ask A Very Personal Question And I Don't Expect Anyone To Answer.
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

If you aren't embarrassed by my question I'd appreciate knowing if anyone else has the same experience. I have issues with having sex, the majority of the time it makes me feel sick in my stomach, I luckily have a very understanding bf. Sometimes when I feel that internal sex will be to much we go for the external pleasure (clitoris). But even this causes pain sometimes. Does this happen to anyone else? My doctors are very coy with giving me answers to anything.

Laparoscopy is the answer if excision is used to remove Endo. Most who get a laparoscopy are getting ablation where the Endo is simply burned but not removed, causing more pain and scarring. Endo… read more

Does Anyone Have A Way Of Dealing With Negatove Responses From Coworker, Friends And Family?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I thought I could talk to this one girl about what I have been going through. Her respond was that it wasn't that bad and her cousin went through the same thing. As soon as her cousin had her first kid she was fine. I was stunned. (My doctor mentioned to me only some women find relief after pregnancy. Every women is different.) Her response to my quick fix was to have a kid. She's pretty much made me feel like I can't talk to anyone but my husband and doctor. And sometimes I feel my husband… read more

Should I Be Concerned About A Fall After Laproscopy?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had a laproscopy to diagnose/remove endo tissue mid October 23. I just fell skiing on Jan 13th and started spotting/light bleeding on the 15th only 5 days after my period (which had lasted 13 days). Should I be concerned or am I jumping to conclusions? My right ovarie area is really hurting.
