Should I Be Worried About A 6.6cm Ovarian Cyst?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

My doctor put me on birth control and scheduled another ultrasound, which I have to postpone because I lost my insurance, but she said it’s most likely an Endometriomas (?) cyst and made it sound like I don’t need to worry about it. She’s a new doctor so I don’t have a relationship with her and saw her because of cramps and excessive bleeding. But 6.6cm seems big?!

I had a cyst that appeared to be on my ovary that was 2cm, I ended up having surgery to get it removed because the pain wasn't getting better from anything. The cyst ended up being in my fallopian tube. You know your body, voice any concerns you have.
