I was about to schedule my laparoscopy (& endo excision) with my ob gyn, Dr. Simon from Novant Health in Winston Salem, NC. She completed a medical/surgical fellowship at the St. Paul IV Institute (they are leaders in napro/treating endo for fertility, etc). Then I discovered the Nancy's Nook Endometriosis Education FB group & my dr. is not listed there as a trusted endo excision specialist (they insist on an expert to remove all endo). I haven't worked with either of those doctors but I do want to say that the dr I see for my endo surgery is a napro/St. Paul IV institute doctor and he is PHENOMENAL! He was on Nancy's Nook w/some great reviews. He removed everything and I feel AMAZING. If you feel comfortable with Dr. Simon and she has answered all your questions and assured you she'll take care of it, I think it's a reasonable choice to go with her.
