When (how long until) did birth control pills stop your period and what bc did you take?

For those of you who have been on Visanne did you notice a change in your periods? My first one on it came late and lasted for about two weeks and this one is even later or possibly non-existent I had some cramps around the time I should have gotten it and maybe a drop. Can it stop your period altogether? My doctor never mentioned it when she prescribed it to me and it slipped my mind to ask. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Got my first injection of Decapeptyl 12 days ago been put onto the 3 monthly injection and have started bleeding , not really heavy but experiencing cramping
Is this normal I’ve never had this type of treatment any advice would be appreciated

I know this has been asked a couple of times already but I'm unable to find the right thread to answer my question.
I had a laproscopic myomectomy to remove a large fibroid in April and I was given decapeptyl injection (3 month dose) in January this year.
My periods should have come back by now but I have no signs of ovulation other than sore breasts.
How long can it take to get the first period after decapeptyl 3 month?

So I have suspected endometriosis, gynae is pretty convinced although I need a laproscopy to validate this. I was put on Decapeptyl for this and PMDD but it was like hell on earth. I wasn't informed that chemical menopause and HRT isn't great if you have a predisposition to Osteopenia/Osteoarthritis etc which I do. I started taking visanne 7-8 weeks ago and had a noticeable reduction in pain however my first cycle while on the medication hasnt stopped and I'm going on 4 weeks. My gyno is suggesting I tough it out since it's working to reduce pain but I'm inclined to stop if the bleeding continues. Everything I've read so far about visanne indicates your period should become lighter and maybe even disappear so I'm wondering if anyone else had this side effect and was there a way to stop the bleeding?

I’m 3 weeks late and have taken multiple pregnancy tests- all negative. I know periods can be abnormal post-lap but when is it too long for it to just be a “missed period”?

I've been taking Visanne for a year now and doctor has said I can stop it. How long did it take for your period to return after stopping it? And have you experienced any other symptoms? I've been off it for 2 weeks now. No period yet, but I've had breast sensitivity, increased appetite and increased libido. I would love to hear your experiences!

So I've been on injections for 6 months. In the UK it's called Decapeptyl, it medically puts you through the menopause. I had my last injection in August so should have worn off in November.

Just wondering of anyone has been on it and how long it took to get out your system and have your first period again?

I've not had a period yet but im convinced my endo pain is back as I'm starting to get chronic pelvic pain back.

Can this happen without having a period?
