I had to cut lot of people out of my life, because of endo. And some were acting as if am faking it, there were times were pain will hit me out of the blue & they would start asking questions. My circle is very small now

Many people do not know about endo. We can educate our friends about it and open the dialogue. We didn't choose to have endo and it's not our fault. I tell people the statistics ( 1 in 10 women in their reproductive years have it) and bring the facts to light. Sadly women's health isn't talked about much or researched. Unlike men's health. But it doesn't have to be. We can change it using advocacy, education and endo awareness. It helps me push through. I want to do the Resolve walk this September. You should too! https://resolve.org/get-involved/events/walk-of...

I just don’t say much to those that don’t matter to me. The ones that matter and that don’t understand how you feel or what is going on I have just picked up information at my doctors office and I have also use the internet to show some what what is going on. But some people will never get it sorry to say hun

you gladly move on because you can't explain yourself to people who don't get it.

You definitely find out who your friends are. You can try having them read Dr. Seckin’s book, which goes a lot into the patient experience. But some folks are just not kind. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/26490371
