Hi Girlies. Has Anyone Experienced Pain Up The Front And Back Of Pelvic Area When Emptying The Bladder?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Last February I had a complete hysterectomy with only 1 ovary preserved, from about 6 months post op I started getting these stong pains when emptying my bladder first thing now it's got I'm in extreme pain with my lower back and pelvis every min of the day.
My gp suggested the endo could be reccurent and possibly attached now to my bladder, has anyone experienced this or any advice?

I did practically beg both my current OBGYN and gastroenterologist for ANY medicine. My OB just refused anything at all other than tylenol and ibuprofen. My gastro really listened to my cry (literally lol) for help and thought on what she could prescribe me to give a try! I hope you get some relief very soon!

Honestly, the medicine has helped me so much with returning to work post-hysterectomy! I'm in love with it!

It's possible, but have you had an pelvic floor PT? It may be your pelvic muscles spasming. My physical therapist said that if the muscles are already tense, the slightest agitation can send them into overdrive. Or it could be both, which would suck, but is a possibility.

OMG, I am going to beg my doc for that. Apologies for TMI, but I have had terrible diarrhea and the spasms have been absolute agony! I know it's just the usual flare stuff, but omg these spasms are worse than they've ever been and it's really awful! Glad to hear you're doing better, though (I feel like another exclamation point may be excessive, but I'm so tired my give a damn may be busted)!
