Hi, I’m brand new to the community so please forgive if it’s been asked; I didn’t find the answer.

Yes, and so many doctors don't know enough about endo to even suspect it, let alone diagnose it. Fibroids are also created from too much estrogen in the body, which you have by definition of having endo. As to the cysts, it depends on the kind, but I agree with the above that chocolate cysts are also connected since they are a Stage of endo.
The VA is tough but the best way to treat endo is excision surgery. I've got a lot of links about it if you want them; just tell me. But a good place to start is Nancy's Nook on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/groups/NancysNookEndoEd/). Lots of articles and a list of excision surgeons. Good luck!
I know cysts can actually be a type of endometriosis implant, often called chocolate cysts. Chocolate cysts are blood-filled cysts. On the fibroids, I don't believe they're a type of implant but from what I've read, it's often a "comorbidity", which is basically something that tags along with the disease.
