Wow.. Hi everyone.. how's everyone doing?

I have a question. For those using Mirena, any of you experiencing blood clots?

Ah, in a way, that's "good" that the pain and clots is only during your period and it's better than before. The Mirena doesn't always take all the pain away. But if it's improved, then that's a good sign. But yes, still talk to your doctor.

For me, I had constant pain from the severe adenomyosis. I had some spotting and bleeding when I wasn't supposed to be on my period. But like I said, I expelled the Mirena pretty quickly. My uterus was anteverted, so my cervix was a really odd angle and the Mirena would have come out on its own, if it hadn't been stuck. So for all I know, the Mirena was displaced immediately! So that's why I say my experience is an outlier!

I agree; I had the Mirena too, but also had horrible adenomyosis. At that point, it was really advanced and the Mirena didn't help. I actually expelled it pretty quickly. It never hurts to check with your doctor.

I had a Mirena put in a few months ago, and I've definitely had some blood clots, but none larger that what I'd already been having. Maybe check with your doctor? Take care! <3
