Anybody taking this med for endo? I started it 1 week ago and things are wonderful. Biggest changes are... my mind is quiet and I have zero pain. I assume I had estrogen dominance bc I haven't had any side effect except for night sweats. I was hesitant to take it bc of the side effects some people experienced, but clearly everyone is different.
Oh wow so it def worked for you! Sorry for the new symptoms
I took visanne for 9 months and experienced zero pain. Stopped it in October and have severe constant pain and new pain around my knees and legs....feels like arthritis
Depo provera and Mirena are progesterone only. Estrogen fuels endo, so my doctor has me avoiding any estrogen based BC. She doesn’t even want me ovulating, since that is when my pain is the worst. I only have one overy left after my last endo surgery, my left ovary was severely diseased and adhered to my uterus.
I'm glad you are feeling better. BC didn't help me and I believe it was the estrogen in it that wasn't helping. Hoping the best for you!!!
Glad that medication is helping you. I’ve been on depo provera for over a year and had an iud in September. I still have some pain, but overall the combination of the depo and iud, I’ve been feeling better. I will probably need another surgery, but working on getting my pots under control!
