I was diagnosed with endometriosis about 9 years ago (although I’ve experienced the pain for much longer now). It was a whirlwind just to figure it out, as I’m sure much of you understand. It’s about a 50/50 that this happens to me when I run or work out. Makes sense that it’s not just me now! Sometimes it’s on a specific side, like right near an ovary. I find walking more daily helps and also breathing well during exercise. If you have other tips please share!
Thank u! I honestly thought that I was the only one experiencing this and I thought I was crazy because it felt like no one understood what I continuously go through.
Have u found anything that helps actually get you through? Besides just stopping the workout?
I love working out, and I want to run, but obviously hate putting myself through this.
I’ve tried taking ibuprofen before starting a run, stretching, “activating my core” beforehand, etc.
Yes this! You’re not crazy! Your feelings are valid and I have the same thing when I run and lift
