Mid Month Endo Pain??
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hello :)
For a few years now, around the middle of my cycle, I would have a day of pelvic swelling. This would radiate to the rectum and I would find it very uncomfortable to sit down. This was firstly fobbed off as mid month pain and after pushing, was referred to an endo Dr. The coil kept it at bay for a year or so but now its back and i am awaiting a laparoscopy

Yes! Just joined this group! This has become debilitating for me lately every month, mid cycle, severe contraction like pain, always at night, and feels just like I am giving birth. My belly gets very hard and distended and also get severely nauseated. Ibuprofen takes the pain away, but waiting for it to work is awful! Writhing around in severe pain and screaming into a pillow! My doctor has assumed it is part of my endometriosis. So sorry others are experiencing this too, but glad to know I am not the only one.

Yes, I would actually get it during my ovulation period... it's like a sick joke to me as during that time we suppose to be TTC but I am most of the time in pain and can't perform.🤪

Yep! Part of my regular repertoire of symptoms. And one of those pains that’s hard/embarrassing to explain. For me that pain meant that once again my descending colon was stuck to the pelvic wall 🤨
Good luck 👍🏼🍀
