Hey! I've been on the depo injection for close to a year now, my reason for taking it is because my doctor said it will reduce growth and prevent future growth from happening.

I've recently been told by other women with endo that this is just not true, can anyone help advise? I feel SO let down and lied to by my doctor if that's the case, especially because it's making me bleed for months on end which has made me poorly.

Has anyone been able to find birth control pills that don't cause severe mood changes? I'm usually really happy and upbeat. Recently started birth control pills again and I forgot how much it affects my mood. Has anyone found that different birth control has different effects on mood? Any experiences or help would be great

I need to stay on birth control awhile longer. My hair has thinned from all of the birth controls I have started and stopped. Does anyone have any suggestions for me beside the obvious to get off the pill. I follow an endo diet and take supplements.

I want a second baby however due to circumstances it will probably be almost a year before we can start trying for another baby. My surgeon told me that if I decided not to start trying for a baby I should go on birth control so my endometriosis doesn't come back. Is it a good idea to start on birth control if we'll be trying within a year or would the birth control keep me from getting pregnant after I've stopped it. Is anyone not on any type of hormonal treatment? (Birth control , etc) How is it for you? Doctors seem to scare people and tell them that their endometriosis will grow if they don’t take birth control pills. Is this true? Are you obligated to be on hormones with endo? I know endometriosis isn’t progressive for everyone but I’m also scared that having periods will damage me in the long run. I have 2 endometriomas on my left ovary. I was scheduled to have them removed next week but the hospital cancelled my surgery due to the guidelines for the Coronovirus right now. Since my surgery is postponed I’m taking this time to do a lot of research. I’m learning excision is the best method. When (how long until) did birth control pills stop your period and what bc did you take?

I had surgery almost five weeks ago, stage 4 endo, and my doctor wants me on birth control. She gave me the mini-pill since I'm extremely terrified of nausea/vomiting, but doing research scares me because I already have terrible anxiety and depression, and I don't want that to get worse.
