In the past I've tried various meds and never could tell what, if anything helped. This year alone I tried Zoloft (only made it a week before I freaked myself out and quit), counseling, exercise, journaling, and a bunch of herbal supplements, including CBD and medical marijuana. I try to meditate but struggle. I've taken a few different forms of progesterone as well to help with my endo. I'm just feeling so confused, I feel like I'm missing something or I tried too much. I feel like this past year my anxiety has been through the roof, made me stop eating and I lost a lot of weight fast.. to me I just had to start grounding myself and thinking of the 5 senses bringing myself and my thoughts to the present tense. It took a lot of work but I feel like it’s gotten better. Going to counseling made it worse for me so it’s hard to know what to recommend but definitely try the 5 senses thing I can explain more if you want ♥️
Andrea Vidali? He's amazing! Did he find adenomyosis?
I don't normally say this. Anxiety and stress add to pain. I take Citalopram and had no side effects. I use the elixir. When I'm not taking it, I'm crying all the time and stressed. It may behoove you to try again.
Also CBT is very important. We need to be able to talk about and deal with our illness and pain.

He is apparently one of the best, he found alot of endo, but it didn't improve anything for me.
COVID stinks for everyone, especially we who are sick.
It's very normal to have anxiety and depression with chronic pain. They go hand-in-hand.
I take Citalopram for depression. It works beautifully. I play piano, paint, listen to music. I'm a singer and tap dancer.
What made you so scared and anxious about Zoloft and therapy? Most absolutely need antidepressants and CBT to help us cope.
I almost died from COVID two months after having excision at the CEC. I understand anxiety and gear very well.
If you're on FB, I suggest joining Endo Fight Club (I Admin and will accept you), Endometriosis Support Center (also Admin), Endometriosis Support, and Living With Chronic Pain. Oh! Also go to StuffThatWorks.Health. I love it there as well.
