Do Yall Ever Get Monthly Migraines?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I get a migraine monthly & Im not sure what the trigger is. But i swear nothing works to get rid of them when they come. Have any of yall ever gotten your hormone levels checked? Or had issues like this😩

Yes i do. Every month either the day before my period or the day i start and it lasts for 2 days. Then again for 2 days when i ovulate. Nothing works to stop them either. The dr told me they are hormonal migraines.

Yes. I've had hormonal levels checked. I get them all the time. There are times I have them where I dont get the throbbing headache but parts and or half my body go numb cant feel anything i can get slurred speech &/or blurry vision or even loss of sight as well. I had an episode right after my surgery and drs thought i was having a stroke. Mayo neurologist diagnosed me with something called complex migraine syndrome. They said there's no known cause why people have this condition but there are treatment options. Ive had previous episodes as well but no clue what was happening. It's scary. I hope you feel better soon. Acupuncture helps drastically for me.
