Describe When You Had Your Lightest Period (duration, Flow, Pain Level, Etc.)/"best Period" And What Conditions Did It Occur Under?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Duration/Flow/Pain Level
In the last two years, my lightest period lasted 3-4 days (typical 4-5 days), my menstrual cup never filled half way throughout period (> 5 ml), & I only used one pain relieve patch for sharp pain on side and back.

Conditions - Pre-cycle/Exercise/Diet/Sleep
Prior to the start of this light period, I had several days of my lining shedding which was spotty, I had a 10 mile run (typical) and did ab exercises, protein sources were salmon, greek yogurt, and chick peas,… read more

Since my last period, I'd say this was the second time I had a light period without much pain.

Duration/Flow/Pain Level
This time, my period lasted 3-4 days, my menstrual cup never filled half way throughout period (< 5 ml), & I didn't need any pain relivers. The pain I typically feel on my side was mild and wasn't there constantly.

Conditions - Pre-cycle/Exercise/Diet/Sleep
I did have pre and post spotting which was very light, I did exercise much in terms of running, but I walked often. My diet was the biggest change. Currently, I'm eating a vegetarian diet with no added sugar in anything I have. Two items I was concerned would have a high gastric affect on me was carrots and carbonated water. I had both during my period and there was little effect. Sleep is still irregular, but I'd like to continue to be mindful of when all these things make a contribution to a light and pain free period. Also there may be other factors at play that I'm not playing attention too.
