All the time!
I have been having sciatica pains for years with my endo, more when I’m on my period and ovulating but can be whenever. I have had an MRI to see if any nerves or discs or compressed etc but apparently they aren’t, was wondering if anyone else has had this experience?
I had leg pain badly as a teenager
Hi everyone! I am 25 and have learnt i have endometrioma in my left ovarian (4cm) and high CA125 level, my doctor wants me on Visanne. I have read so many side effects and therefore i couldnt dare taking Visanne.. I am on Yasmin contraceptive pill instead. Wondering if anyone can enlighten me. I'm 35 weeks pregnant (successfully conceived just after surgery last year) and was considering drinking raspberry leaf tea in the final weeks to prepare for birth. But I've read a few sites which say that it's not a good idea for women with a history of endometriosis to drink this tea during pregnancy. Does anyone know why this would be the case? Or if it's even true?
I am going to ask my obstetrician when I see her next week but thought maybe someone here… read more

I’ve been suffering with very bad period pains since my teenage years, im now 36 years old. I’ve had all the pain medications, scans, contraceptive pill and depot injection but GP never took me serious. Until last year at my ultrasound scan I was asked if I was ever tested for endometriosis as ovaries very close together.
I had a laparoscopy last year and diagnosed with stage 3 endometriosis. The surgeon said that my ovaries were stuck to uterus wall and he managed to remove the adhesions… read more

I'm 36 diagnosed endo 2 operations (it's never ending) I've started getting a week of black blood/discahrge before my period every month and spotting after sex. I am a 48 year old woman. I have ALWAYS had irregular periods even when I thought it was regular. When I was younger, I bled heavily with lots of clotting and pain. Then about 5 years ago, I started skipping months. Slowly, then longer each year. Stress seemed to be a major factor in it also. July 2011, my ex-husband took his life. I went 9 months without a period. Then in 2014, I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer. I went over 2 years without a period, levels were all checked and even though… read more

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member, I wish I did. Unless you have endometriomas, or maybe some adhesions on your ovaries?
Did anyone that had pelvic steroid injections have irregular periods because of it?
I started getting injections in December (once every two months). I’ve been irregular ever since.
Anyone else have this?
Did you go back to normal?
When did you go back to normal?
I had a steroid injection in my shoulder once that induced a sudden period that lasted almost a month. Then I went back to my normal cycle. The doctors all told me there's no way it was linked. 🙄
