I've been on Visanne since May. But I've been taking it on and off since I've been diagnosed and after my surgery. At first I would take it gladly since I'd rather experience any of its side effects than endometriosis pain. But now that it's been years I can really say it really gives me mood swings, increases my appetite, and somewhat makes me anxious. You can get the original pills in Turkey for $8. I buy them in my country Kosovo for 20€, but from what I've heard they're like $100 in the US.

From experience I can say it worked for me like a bomb... Just very pricey as it is only 28 tabs... There are quite a few side effects... I myself had the weight gain & hair loss... By hair loss I mean you notice more strands than usual in your brush or comb after combing or brushing, each person reacts different to each medication but the visanne does work, the depo Provera injection also works like a bomb just more cost effective....
